PUNK CHOIR! This is Hastings’ own ‘anti-choir’, bringing a punk ethos and tunes! We sing songs with a punk attitude. We want our choir to embody the DIY punk approach, and think that we can all sing. So while talent is appreciated, enthusiasm is essential. We have been singing for just 2 years our home is the Electric Palace Cinema. Our first gig was at Fat Tuesday 2021, it’s our favourite weekend we have such fun performing so we would be so excited to get to do it again. As we are a punk choir we regularly argue about what is punk ? Currently Buzzcocks, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sex Pistols, Raincoats, Wire, X-Ray Spex, Dead Kennedys, and The Lovely Eggs are punk enough, so that's what we sing.
