Hastings born singer-songwriter Poppy Prescott released her debut EP Grand Gestures in July 2022, and brings a sophomore EP in December 2023. She draws any crowd to silence with her soft soulful vocals and folk-style storytelling. Growing up surrounded by musicians, Poppy begun performing live long before she was allowed to be hanging around music venues. Alongside her folk guitar playing, informed by Adrienne Lenker and Nick Drake, are eclectic accompaniments for fans of Radiohead and Sam Amidon. She's accompanied on stage by collaborators Dan McConkey (saxophone, synth) and Myra Brownbridge (double bass, backing vocals).
