The Merciless Bronze is the new band formed by Sam Brace (formerly of folk punk heroes Skinny Lister & 00’s indie band, The Alps). Having relocated to Thessaloniki, Greece, in the depths of Covid 2020, Sam spent lockdown beginning a solo music project which has seen him release a full-length album, 7” & 10” vinyl records, as well as complete a tour of the West Coast of the USA (solo). Now comes the next stage in the story with a band comprised of some of the finest musicians Thessaloniki has to offer. Andreas Charalanis on bass, Lia Amprikidou on drums and Vasilis Kapitanidis on lead guitar will accompany Sam as The Merciless Bronze, so named after a phrase in The Iliad that Sam pulled out when he first moved to Greece. See them at a local show in Thessaloniki and across Europe and beyond in 2026.
