Umbrella Parade & Preservation Sunday

A firm Hastings Fat Tuesday favourite, the Umbrella Parade fills the streets with colour, live music, dancers, and festival-goers of all ages. All you need to take part is a decorated umbrella!

The culmination of the Umbrella Parade is a family-friendly preservation party for all! Enjoy food and drink and great music, as the rivalry of the second line brass bands comes to a head in a dramatic play-off at the White Rock Theatre.
