Vocalist and songwriter Otti spent his first few years growing up with a psychic astrologer mother, deeply involved with the occult, and a chaotic disciplinarian father with life long substance abuse issues who made an income through international crime. Songwriting and performing is a life long expressive act that Otti lives and breathes through, disentangling and creating a mind space to grow a new future. He has performed in Europe many times, criss-crossed the UK, played major festivals and appeared in a couple of downtown venues in New York on a lonesome weekend waiting for his lover to arrive on the bus from Philadelphia. Life has been unpredictable, you could say Otti’s musical life has been highly consequential. Otti has collaborated with a wide variety of musical artists, having been involved in free improvisation from the very beginning, and has released a number of albums of songs both solo and with bands. Three of these albums were released on the BBE record label. Songs have been played on BBC radio, various radio stations in Spain, Germany, France, Holland, Sweden, Ukraine, Belgium and New York’s WFMU.
